Welcome to Miss Daisy’s Kitchen
Hello from Miss Daisy’s Kitchen! We are a small family-owned-and-operated producer of artisan jams, preserves, chutneys and pickles based in the sleepy little village of Brynmawr, near the Heads of the Valleys in South Wales.
We are comprised of one obsessive jam maker (Anne), one long-suffering and marmalade-loving husband (Matt), Master Joseph (age 10), the eponymous Miss Daisy (age 8), one fat ginger tomcat called Mr Baggins and our kitten named Gandalf the Grey.
All of our produce is hand-cut, hand-stirred and completely homemade. When we opened, we were determined to offer seasonal produce as much as we could. However, we have a core range called The Classic Collection, which we endeavour to keep in stock all year round. This collection consists your breakfast table favourites and chutneys perfect for any cold meat selection or cheeseboard. They include:
NOTE: Each season, new chutneys, jams and pickles are made and sit alongside The Classic Collection. Our inventory is always fully stocked and replenished.
Our preserves and chutneys come from vintage recipes. Additionally, they are award-winning products! Our Mummy’s Carrottop Chutney was given three stars after winning the Great Taste Award. We are one of only five Welsh producers to receive this prestigious honour.
We’d Love to Hear From You
You can also find our jams and chutneys as part of The Chase Hamper Company’s ‘Taste of Wales’ hamper. Check out their website; the hampers look delicious! We are also on sale in Prices at Beaufort, Tutti Frutti in Brynmawr and Old Castle Farm Shop in Neath.
