Miss Daisy's Kitchen

Artisan jams, chutneys and pickles made with vintage recipes and local produce.

Welcome to Miss Daisy's Kitchen.

Hello from Miss Daisy's Kitchen,

We're a small Artisan jam, preserves, chutney and pickles producer based in the sleepy little village of Brynmawr, near the Heads of the Valleys in Wales.  We are a small family business consisting of one obsessive jam maker (Anne), one long suffering marmalade loving husband (Matt), Master Joseph (age 8) , the eponymous Miss Daisy (age 7) and a fat ginger tom cat called Mr Baggins.

This little jam company has been a life long dream of a very frustrated HR/H&S manager, who never thought she'd actually get so far. However, with the incessant badgering of the hubby, Miss Daisy's opened in January 2014 and we're only getting bigger by the day.

All of our produce is hand cut, hand stirred and completely home made. We responsibly source our fruit and veg from a local greengrocer based in Ebbw Vale, some of our produce is home grown and we're looking to expand on that.

Our eggs come from Aberdare, our spices are bought in Abergavenny  and our fruit and veg are locally sourced.

When we opened we were determined to offer seasonal produce as much as we could.  However, Miss Daisy's has a small core range  called The Classic's Collection which we endeavour to keep in stock all year round.

The Classic Collection consists your breakfast table favourites and chutneys perfect for any cold meat selection or cheeseboard.

Bestsellers

Aunty Deanne's Lemon, Lime and Elderflower marmalade.

It's got a mighty zesty kick. Great on hot buttered toast and comes with a free wake up call too!

Summer Collection

Grandpa Cliff's Tomato and Chilli Jam.  Amazing on a bacon roll, great used as glaze for chicken breasts or quorn and always great as a summer dip.

Mummy's Carrottop Chutney

An alternative to Mango chutney, try this Indian Spiced carrot chutney. Sweet carrots, Fenungrek seeds, Turmeric, Nigella seeds and garlic.
Great with poppadoms and curry.
